Following on from our involvement in the Cloud Expo Europe conference back in March, Instant On IT were asked to take part in the Cloud report within July’s Business Technology supplement in the Sunday Telegraph.
In the report, Paul states that Disaster Recovery will become an increasingly key driver for Cloud. As the recent example of the Holborn fire demonstrates, with its estimated economic cost of £40 million, and as threats of terrorist activities are unfortunately not to be dismissed, there is no advance warning for when your Disaster Recovery Plan may need to be implemented at pace.
Cloud is a significant enabler when it comes to Disaster Recovery. We saw this first-hand with clients of ours in the Holborn area, who were promptly able to continue their business operations from alternative premises, whilst their offices were inaccessible for days. Read full article.
